Spelling Cue — Support
Spelling Cue is a dyslexia-friendly spelling practice app for parents and tutors. Photograph or type a weekly spelling list, get a pattern-grouped cheat sheet with memory tips, print handwriting practice pages, and practise with listen-and-spell.
Common questions
Scanning found the wrong words.
Every scanned word is shown for review before saving. Tap a word to remove it, or use Clear all and type the list. Words marked with a question mark were not found in the dictionary and may be misread.
How do I move a student to another phone or tablet?
Settings › Share & import › Share sends a file by Messages, Mail or AirDrop. Tap the attachment on the other device and Spelling Cue imports it.
The voice sounds different the first time a word is played.
The built-in voice prepares each word in the background after a list is created. Until a word is ready, the device's own voice reads it.
Can my child use it without an account?
Yes. There are no accounts at all. Everything stays on the device.
What is free, and what needs Plus?
Free: one student, one typed list of up to 10 words, the cheat sheet on screen, and practice. Spelling Cue Plus: photo scanning, unlimited students, lists and words, printing with handwriting pages, and practice history.
